The tiny hamlet of Specchio is located at an altitude of 566 metres above sea level on Mount Spinola, which separates Val Pessola from the small valley of the Marena stream, a right tributary of the Ceno stream. [8] Descending along the latter slope, a short distance away is the village of Filippi, located at an altitude of 566 metres above sea level, while at the bottom of the valley, on the right bank of the Ceno, is the centre of Marena, at an altitude of 274 metres above sea level. Further upstream along the Ceno valley are the villages of Zibel, at an altitude of 333 metres above sea level, and Massari, at an altitude of 449 metres above sea level, on the ridge between the small valleys of the Selva and Lubbia rivers.
